Mukete Estates Limited (MEL) is found in Meme Division of the South West Region. It comprises of 2 major plantations for 2 main crops – the oil palm plantations units in Banga Bakundu and Bai Manya (Mbonge Sub-Division) and the rubber plantations units in Komba Dikwi (Konye Sub-Division) and Nkangmudikum (Kumba 1 sub-Division).

 

The oil palm plantation occupies a total surface area of 1077.8ha hectares (881.6ha in Banga and 196.2ha in Bai Manya). Plantation started since 1977 and has continued to 2014. The rubber plantations on its own part make up a total surface area of 371.0 ha (318.4 ha in Komba Dikwi and 52.6 ha in Nkangmudikum).
